Dear diary!
After a fairly long night's sleep in one of the camps in Canberra, I woke up at 6 o'clock by Mesi talking to herself, LOUD enough to wake me up.
Thank God for that cause I'm not a morning person.
Everybody met at 7AM in the shed to have breakfast. The weather was a bit cold so we were all in big need of our Safari jumpers.
The bus started to drive us to the Parliament House. Lots of group photos were taken outside this quite beautiful building. Then a guide showed us around and talked about some stuff. I was very tired though...
Next place to visit was The Institute of Sport where we got half an hour to try some sport activities like rowing machine and basketball. This followed with a guided tour around the different sport courts and we even got to see young 8 year old athletes training gymnastics.
Back to the camp we ate toasted sandwiches with ham, cheese and.... pineapple.
Before leaving Canberra this arvo, we got 2 hours at the War Memorial. The wall was fantastic!
After 2 hours standing, sitting and sleeping in the bus we stopped at Gundagai for tea and some snack. I guess that everybody had a wonderful sleep in the bus this night!? =)
Lots of love, Charlotta #9
