Our diary entry dated 08.05.07:
Today we got up at 6. We were extremely quiet because an old lady told she didn’t hear a thing when we took our tents down.
We saw a bunch of little baby ducklings and their mama duckling. They were CUTE. When we were about to leave Charters Towers, the bus BROKE DOWN!!
So we waited for a while so we were an hour behind schedule. So our journey to coast begun a bit late. In the bus we were bored as usual. We watched My Super Ex-Girlfriend and people listened to their ipods, read, as usual.
When we arrived to Airlie Beach, we put our tents up and after we went to the town!! Shopping, internet, walking on the beach (it was awesome to see water after these long dry days in the desert).
After shopping, we (Anna and Kiki) cleaned the filfthy bus and went to the pool!! We had a nice dinner, Carol is a good cook.
Now, we must go to sleep so we’ll be up and ready to go tomorrow!!!!! (scuba diving and snorkeling!!)
